About Dave Dubin
Born in 1967, I have a broad background that gives me a number of facets to incorporate into any speaking role, on or off-camera, including in front of an audience. My voice has been a calling card since a teen, as it is deep and resonant, and my personality is genuine. I can smile and laugh and keep up with anyone, but in the end, my genuine nature comes through. What you see is what you get, so to speak.
I’ve been a soccer player and now coach since age five. While soccer is my favorite sport, I am also an avid athlete and fan of competitive sports in general, especially volleyball, football, and hockey. I’ve competed at a high level, experiencing the ups and downs of competitive sports, including winning, teamwork, disappointment and injury. Sports help you learn to take direction, improvise quickly and responsively, and adapt to multiple situations. I’ve always taken a leadership role in my life. This has included being a captain on the field, a volunteer in the community, a board member, a small business owner, a national sales manager, even the founder of my own non-profit foundation. I’ve been married since 1995, and I have three boys. I’m a three-time cancer survivor, as I have a genetic form of colon cancer called Lynch Syndrome. It has been passed down from my grandfather to my father to me and now to my kids. I have lived in Florida, New Orleans, and currently the New York City area. My accent is minimal to slightly New York.
